Dan Marcum, Texas - Equine Flexion Therapy Specialist

Dan is a Certified Farrier Specialist, Certified Master Farrier, Certified Equine Adjuster, Professional Horseman, and Showman who has devoted his career to the care of all-around horses. His experience led him to develop his Equine Felxion Therapy (EFT) patented technique along with patented products for people and horses to help eliminate soreness and inflammation issues.

As of 2019, Dan is now a Certified Technician for the Magna Care PEMF company (Pulse Electro Magnetic Frequency). He provides demonstrations and services of this innovative machine along with his technique to achieve the very best for horses.

Dan visits our school four to five times per year for a 3-day clinic to share his personal and professional business aspects and techniques with our farrier students as well as outside people who have an interest in taking his 3-day clinic. Dan has over 36 years of farrier experience and expertise. His expertise is in the anatomy of the “whole horse,” muscles, tendons, how they flex and affect the soundness of the horse in motion. Our 12 week and 6-week advanced students will have the opportunity to meet him.
